A Bar Above

An elevated aprés ski hot spot at the base area, this “low lights, high spirits” atmosphere caters to both visitors and the locals alike. Enjoy some of the best cocktails in the valley—we recommend the Mezcal Margarita to get the job done. Or take your pick from a sweet lineup of beers and wines. Soak up the live music and hang out with some quick bites to eat. The Banh Mi and Fig Apple Brie are not to be missed.

Butte 66 Roadhouse Bar & Grille : 970-349-2272

The best place to sip a beer and watch your crew come down the hill! Unwind on their large outdoor deck with a burger and a boozy shake. Or hang indoors and catch the game. Open for lunch, aprés ski, and dinner.

Coal Breaker Coffee Co. : 970-349-2229

Named after the local Floresta Coal Breaker – the largest coal breaking facility west of Pennsylvania in the late 1800’s – Coal Breaker Coffee offers one-stop convenience for a morning warm-up. Located on the ground level of the Treasury center and serving up pastries, hot sammies, and coffee. Open while the lifts are spinning: 7am-2pm.

Crested Butte Burger Company : 970-349-8958

Sometimes getting back to basics means you can’t go wrong! Serving up mouth-watering, fresh never frozen, 100% Angus beef on hot buttered buns, this is the perfect pit stop at the base. Ask for the Cajun fries for extra spice! Open 11am-4pm.

Iron Horse Tap : 970-349-7300

Featuring your favorite American comfort foods, including the best pizza in Mt. CB. Made with their super secret pizza sauce and browned to perfection in a double deck stone bakers pride oven, it’s hard for us to argue with that! Order up a Colorado draft beer from the penny top bar, and gaze at beautiful Mt. Crested Butte peak views. Nestled inside the Plaza, Iron Horse is open for aprés ski and dinner.

José at Elevation : 970-251-3030

Located steps from the slopes at Elevation Hotel and Spa, you’ll want to check this restaurant off your must-try list. Their top-shelf margarita is our go-to favorite, and the ceviche is surprisingly refreshing. Any of their chef-crafted, Gualalajara-inspired dishes will definitely have you coming back for more. Added bonus: your furry friends can join too! Take advantage of their pet friendly patio with stunning mountain views. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Tin Cup Ice Cream & Desserts : 970-349-2640

Two scoops of the only homemade ice cream in CB please! Not feeling a cold treat? Go for one of their homemade waffles. They’re served all day because waffles are not just breakfast. We like the Yellow Brick Road: it’s topped with Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal, whipped cream, and caramel sauce. Absolutely mouth-watering. This crew also turns out milkshakes, “powzookies,” plus custom cakes and desserts.

Dining options on the Mountain

Paradise Warming House : 970-349-2333

The most popular dining option on the mountain! Spend your day doing laps on the Paradise express lift, then take a break at the Warming House for drinks (including the famous Bacon Bloody Mary) at the bar and delicious food at the globally inspired food stations. Enjoy your food and drinks inside for open-style seating or outside on the lively patio.

Uley’s Cabin and Ice Bar : 970-349-2275

Enjoy craft cocktails, beer, and an elevated patio grill menu on Uley’s vibrant outdoor bar with close-up views of Mt. CB peak. Pop into an Adirondack chair on their expansive deck, and soak up those views! Or warm up inside by the wood-burning fire, and enjoy rustic Colorado cuisine with a French-inspired flare along with an inspired wine and cocktail menu. Make a dinner reservation for a magical sleigh ride to the cabin, followed by a memorable five-course meal.

Umbrella Bar at Ten Peaks : 877-547-5143

This impressive circular bar and cook’s kitchen boasts the best views around. Depending on the day and the weather, the umbrella over the bar will either be open to provide a cozy atmosphere, or retracted, allowing folks to bask in a gorgeous bluebird day. Either way, you’ll leave refreshed after access to a full bar, draft beer, and plenty of food options to keep the whole fam happy. Open 10am-4pm, 7 days a week during ski season and peak summer season.
