Ice Skating

The Nordic Center in Crested Butte has a wonderful, covered outdoor rink for ice skating. Adults can rent skates for $25; children under 16 can rent for just $15 from the center’s rental service. The Town of Crested Butte schedules open skate times, so please visit their website to make sure the rink is available.

This property was perfect for our trip – there was plenty of shared space, and the bedrooms were spacious as well. The kitchen has all the cooking amenities one needs. It was like cooking at home but with a much better view!

The view from the patio is beautiful – a mountain side of colorful aspens or those fabulous, rosy sunsets. We so enjoyed morning coffee at the patio table and chairs, and then winding down in the evening as the sun went down. We hiked over from Aspen to Crested Butte during the Arts Festival for our friends Bachelorette party. Looking through countless condos for a reservation, the San Moritz condos were by far the most affordable.
